WMC Swiss is a non-profitable community and our objectives are very simple. We strive to connect Malayalees around Switzerland to create a culture that benefits our community and the world at large.
We aim to drive a change for the better in everything we do so that we can offer this world something that they can benefit from.
Being a province under the “World Malayalee Council” we continue in the long tradition of the WMC.
The main objective of this organization is to provide a non-political forum in bringing together the widely scattered Malayalees (person of origin from Kerala, a beautiful state in South India).
WMC aims to strengthen the common bonds of culture, tradition and ways of life.
WMC is responsive to the needs of the diverse multi racial geographical milieu in which Malayalees move about. Our community has a global network & we aim to provide opportunities and capabilities for people of all age groups, be it in the area of leadership or service to the community they live in and to their motherland – our own Kerala or as commonly phrased, “Nammude Swantham Keralam”
WMC works towards an international brotherhood of Malayalees to boost their cultural, artistic and social uniqueness, thereby fostering various cultural integration and service.
To translate these goals, WMC has constituted worldwide Regional and Provincial Councils with eminent Malayalees who have distinguished themselves nationally and internationally.
Within the WMC Community, suitable and committed persons at different organizational levels with sound vision and integrity are elected.
WMC gives special emphasis in developing our new generation of expatriate Malayalees who sometimes feel culturally and socially alienation in their adopted country.
WMC also offers various opportunities to fresh expatriates that have left Kerala and are now in need of the right connection to revive their Kerala culture. WMC seeks to help such Malayalees with the right resources and help such that they can begin their life smoothly in the new country that they have now landed into.
